Understanding Sexual Intercourse 101 For Teenagers

Sex is one of the most pleasurable things a human being could ever indulge in. Great sex gets you in a mental state that no form of drug or feeling could achieve. God created human beings with two amazing body parts, one for the man which is outside the body while that for the woman is on the inside. I remember vividly during one of my Biology classes in SS1, when a female classmate asked “do men have bones in their penis? if not then how does it charge and stay erect?”. The penis is amazing on its own because it has no bones yet it could be as hard as rock (exaggeration). When the penis gets erect, the arteries bring blood into two tubes located at the side and bottom of the penis, and veins carry blood away from them. The penis can be either limp or erect, depending on the flow of blood. Under the penis is the most underrated yet most important sexual organ in both genders; the testicles (testes) a.k.a balls. The testes are the most sensitive organs in a man’s body and are responsible for making testosterone, the primary male sex hormone, and for generating sperm.

Next organ is definitely the most sophisticated, most sensitive, most loved, most abused sexual organ in any human being. Drum rolls as we welcome the vagina vulva a.k.a pussy. The vulva comprises of the labia majora, labia minora, hymen (only present in virgins), vaginal opening and the urethra opening (for urination). What makes the vaginal opening the talk of town is 6 reasons:
It’s where menstrual blood comes out from
It’s where the penis derives pleasure from
It’s the entry point of the sperm
It’s the exit point of the baby
It self lubricates
It cleanses itself.
The vaginal opening is always mildly moist on a normal day but quite wet when a lady is aroused sexually.

So simply put, this is how sex works. A man and a woman (not a boy and a girl) get ready for sex by mostly indulging in foreplay (kissing, cuddling, fondling etc). During foreplay, the woman’s nipples and her clitoris get charged while her vaginal opening gets wet. The man’s penis on the other hand is filled with blood and gets erect. Depending on the chosen sexual position which ranges from missionary, doggy-style, cow girl, scissors etc. The man or the woman as the style will dictate inserts the penis slowly into the already well lubricated vaginal opening. When this happens, both parties will experience a surge of mental stimulation. The man because his sensitive organ is inserted into the wet, tight and fleshy walls of the vagina. The woman because her sensitive fleshy vagina is occupied by the penis and also the fact that sexual intercourse stimulates the hymen. So in a motion depicting “in and out” movements, whereby the man goes in and out several times during the sexual intercourse, they engage in what is popular called sex. When the man’s penis is continuously stimulated by the vaginal opening, the spinal cord orders the testes to release millions of sperm cells (filled with the genes of the man) into the vagina of the woman. This action is termed ejaculation in science or “cum” in lay man terms. The woman can also cum (reach orgasm) if the clitoris or the g-spot (located slightly below the entrance of the vagina) is well stimulated. The difference between the cum of the woman and that of the man is that the man’s cum is important for child bearing while that of the woman is insignificant. Secondly, the man’s cum is visible because it comes out of the penis salty, sticky and whitish in colour. That of the woman on the other hand is almost invisible in the sense that you don’t see anything. Most women that orgasm don’t have proof because nothing comes out, the only evidence could be the thickening of the vaginal juice. But in rare cases, the woman has this evidence in the form of a transparent  liquid substance that comes out from the vaginal opening not the urethral opening (where urine comes out from). The process whereby a woman ejects visible cum is called squirting. This is a wide guess so don’t hold me accountable for it but I can safely assume that if they were 100 women in Nigeria, only between  5 and 10 squirt. It’s that rare.
A point to note, a woman not cuming doesn’t mean she didn’t enjoy the sex, might mean it takes her longer to cum or she’s not yet used to it or the man didn’t strike the right cords. The length of sex is usually determinant on the time it takes for the man to ejaculate. After both parties are either satisfied or tired, the sex is over or suspended to be continued later.

Very importantly, there are 3 rules to having sex of which two could be flaunted not NEVER the three. They are:
A> Abstinence: Abstinence is by far the best because it saves you from heartache, pain, regret, abortions, pregnancy but most of all saves you from sin and fornication.
B> Be faithful: Obviously the married folks have nothing to do with abstinence because sex is their like their birthright. This option also applied to the “I can’t hold body” crew. Be faithful to ONE partner not to the whole village.
C> Condom use: Condom has been proven not to be 100% safe but its also currently the most efficient method to prevent unwanted pregnancies and STD’s.

In conclusion, sex is beautiful and very enjoyable but its worth waiting for and to be had with the love of your life in the confines of marriage. Also remember that you should NEVER be pressured into having sex, if he leaves you because you refused to have sex with him, smile and move on because if he truly loves you, he will wait. #Simple
